The Best Sneaker for Europe

The Hā‘upu sneaker are versatile shoes that are designed for comfort, durability, and style, making them the perfect choice for anywhere your European travels take you. Mine trekked all over London and Greece this summer and not only were they like walking on clouds they still look as new as the day I unboxed them. I love the gold detailing making them the perfect sneaker to pair with jeans, skirts and dresses.

You can find them on the website here: Hā‘upu

OluKai is also currently matching donations up to $200k made to Maui Fire Relief.

Imagine enjoying it on a sunny terrace overlooking the Aegean Sea, or sharing it with friends in a cozy taverna tucked away on a winding Greek street. Let me tell you, if you make this for a crowd you should double the recipe because it will get devoured! Sadly, I have never taken home leftovers of this dip.

Lake Como

Lake Como is a beautiful and iconic destination located in Northern Italy. My clients always tell me what a highlight this destination is. If and when you go, keep an eye out for George Clooney and Madonna who have homes on the lake. Here are five things I love about Lake Como.

  2. Rich Culture: The region has a rich cultural heritage, with historic villas, churches, and gardens that date back centuries. Visitors can explore the area's many art galleries and museums, attend traditional festivals, and taste delicious local cuisine.

  3. Water Sports: Lake Como is an ideal destination for water sports enthusiasts, with a range of activities such as swimming, sailing, windsurfing, and kayaking.

  4. Relaxation: The peaceful and serene atmosphere of Lake Como provides an ideal setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. Visitors can enjoy the tranquil surroundings, take leisurely walks, and indulge in luxurious spa treatments.

  5. Accessibility: Lake Como is easily accessible from Milan and other major cities in Italy, making it a convenient destination for travelers. There are also many transportation options available, including ferries, trains, and buses.

Overall, Lake Como is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the beauty, culture, and relaxation of Italy. Whether you're looking to explore the historic landmarks, indulge in delicious cuisine, or simply soak up the scenic beauty, Lake Como has something for everyone.

Travel Tip

Packing Hack

Use the shower cap the hotel gives you to wrap around wet or damp clothes on your departure day. It keeps the rest of your clothes dry and avoids that mildew smell when you open your suitcase to unpack. I like to soak in every last moment of my vacations which means I might take a dip in the pool or ocean before my afternoon flight, so this little trick saves my suits and my suitcase every time.

A Rave Review of the Monroe’s Italian Vacation

Blake and Rachel Monroe

We traveled to Italy to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We started with two nights in Florence, then a quick night in Rome, and spent the rest of the trip in the amazing Amalfi coast. We loved our hotel in Sorrento (Grand Hotel Capodimonte), as it had incredible pools and views. While there, we were able to visit Pompeii, take a boat ride to Capri, and had a private driver take us to Positano and Ravello to see all of the Amalfi coast. It was a dream come true! It was hard to leave the pasta, pizza, gelato and limoncello. I cannot recommend Italy enough and I'm so grateful for Rachel's help making this trip happen!
